Me and a buddy of mine are planning our backpacking trip for 2015 of July/August. We look to share good times and good vibes with everyone we meet throughout our travels. As i meet new friends along the way id hope to one day return the favor.

ABOUT ME

My name is Steven Kasten i live in the suburbs of eastern Long island NY , just outside New York City. Ive owned my own martial arts school for the last 4 years, but decided its time to get out of my comfort zone and see what the world has to offer. I find my peace in the love for my spiritual being, friends and family, nature,books, martial arts, and the new experiences of life.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all made up of the same thing. Show love, and be selfless. Live in the now, and experience whats in front of you for all its worth. Along the way dont take things too serious, and regardless of age never forget to have fun.

I dont spend too much time watching movies but ill watch anything once. I gravitate to all different genres of music, and any Alan Watts books are always fun to read.

Ive practice mixed martial arts since i was 4. Some could be skeptical for their safety through travels. Having some basic knowledge for self defense is something everyone should have, and id love to share it with you all
