Steady and good-natured. My wife Marg and I are parents of four grown children. I am a public servant and Marg is a school principal and Nonviolent Communication trainer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested to meet travellers and listen to their stories. I like to share what I know about the beautiful and interesting places near my home on the south coast of Western Australia.

Bushwalking, photography, food and wine, travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Blues, rock, some folk, songs with meaning, music performed by my son, music performed by other people I know (except for country music and bagpipes).
Movies: Anything thoughtful, especially thoughtful and humorous.
Books: Australian authors, especially relating to the south coast of Western Australia; international authors who show up at the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, which I try to attend each year.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked the whole length of the Bibbulmun Track, a 1000km walk trail through the bush from Perth to Albany.
