ABOUT ME

My wife Inez and I live in a lovely beach town called Papamoa in the North Island of New Zealand. I am a physiotherapist and operate my own business from premises on our property, which is across the road from the beach. Inez is a primary school teacher. We have 3 children (23, 21 & 18) who have all just recently left home.Inez and I enjoy many outdoor adventure sports such as kite-surfing, snowboarding, hiking, wakeboarding and really enjoy travelling. We are beginning to plan more trips overseas but want to see the real world, so figure that by staying with local people we will get introduced to the local culture. We have always enjoyed having visitors stay with us, so when we found out about 'couch surfing' we thought it would be a great way to meet others that are like minded.We are heading to South & Central America in February 2012 for 3 months so will be unavailable during this time to host but please contact us if you would like any assistance or local knowledge.
