To learn about myself and the world through other people and places

ABOUT ME

I'm 23 years old and not really sure what I want to do with myself in the long term. I think while I figure it out I may as well make the most of having less commitments by travelling as much as I can. I've been to a lot of interesting places and like talking about them, and also hearing other people's experiences from their own travels.

When at home I occupy a lot of my time recording and playing music in a couple of bands. Apart from that I enjoy a good book and also being physically active (either through sport or something like hiking).

PHILOSOPHY

I am not sure that I have a particular underpinning philosophy worked out, but I am certainly passionate about social justice and fairness, and would like to think that my life is in harmony with those values.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Due to the housing situation at home I haven't been able to host so far. I would definitely like to once this changes, as I have met many couchsurfers through my cousin and find it really enjoyable meeting people from all parts of the world.

Going to North Korea in 2012 was a pretty amazing (and strange) experience. Tibetan China in winter was also incredible.

I can teach you to throw a frisbee properly! I have played ultimate frisbee for 7 years and coached a great deal in that time.
