About Me
My name is Stevie! I'm a super fun, super curious gal! I can be a little shy, at first, but you'll find I warm up pretty quickly and am down to try and to learn just about anything! I am currently living in my car and getting my exploration on with two awwwwesome canine compadres, Buddy and Bell. We don't really need anywhere indoors to stay, but a safe place to park the homestead and potentially pitch a tent when it's hot would be super clutch!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in seeing what there is to see and what people are up to all over the world - it seems the best way to do so is to consult with the folks who live where I end up who he ave already felt out all the nooks and crannies of their surroundings!

Music, Movies, and Books
This section could be a novel, itself; I like a little bit of everything people feel compelled to make.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The initiation of this journey was inspired by my pal and traveling companion, Buddy. In 2005 Bud man, in one scenario or another (the story is rather convoluted,) was shot through the nose and brought to a small animal clinic in Brevard, North Carolina. There Bud survived and subsequently lived for 9 years, too scared to leave having experienced such extreme pain through his healing process. In the fall of 2014, having moved to Brevard alone, inexperienced, and extreeeeemely tentative, I took a job at the clinic Bud Sauce lived at. We bonded instantaneously, soul mates without question, and started scheming as to what to do with the rest of our lives. Within a month Buddy was ready and eager to step out into this great big exciting world to catch a whiff of as much of everything he'd been missing as possible!!! We've been on the move ever since - seeing the world with our little friend, Bell, and meeting all sorts of wonderful, kind, and eccentric folk along the way!!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an able bodied girl and am rather good with my hands - fixing and moving heavy things has always been a task I'm requested for. Additionally, having done it professionally, I clean a meeeean house, am a decent cook, spin fire and can share some poi spinning tidbits I've gathered over the years, Annnd I usually roll into town with some art and handmade trinkets on hand for distribution.
