ABOUT ME

I'm a northerner from England so I have humour and extreme friendliness hard wired into my genes. I adored the multi-culturism of London when studying there and got to enjoy meeting a plethora of nationalities and characters there and while living in Germany. So much so that I intend to move back to London and driving myself to be more active in travelling and couchsurfing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Looking to visit several places in Europe where I can visit old mates again and make new friends by couch surfing in new places. I'm aiming to be living in London again in the near future, where I look forward to being able to host as many people as possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When inter railing with my friend a few years back, we were able to stay at a young German girl's house in Neustadt in Holstein. She was very friendly and took us to a restaurant next to the harbour where we had some brilliant seafood. I wish to have more similar experiences after enjoying meeting so many different nationalities while living in Germany.

兴趣

I love to keep active and fit by playing football, playing pool, cycling the countryside around my town and marathon running. Naturally, I prefer walking across cities such as Berlin and London to get to places, as its the best way to discover a city.

In addition, I enjoy visiting various art and science museums and reading poetry, quote books, science journals and novels.
I try not to lose this knowledge when out partying and discovering the best places for night life.

I love a large range of music if it is capable of making me dance with a soft spot for bands from the north of England such as the arctic monkeys, the courteeners, the stone roses, and the fall.

Hemingway's writings about Paris and the San Sebastian festival in Pamplona gave me a curiosity and passion for visiting these places. Also reading Roberto Bolano's The Savage Detectives, as well as meeting so many amazing and cool Mexicans has inspired me to visit Mexico in the future.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing I have done so far is microlighting in which you go flying in a "deckchair with a lawnmower engine attached". It gives such a vivid nervousness and excitement! In addition, the train journey from Munich to Villach through the mountains is glorious and I want to do something similar again in the future.
