I spent 20 years in the film business, working on movies, music videos and TV commercials as a prop master. I have a passion for travel and meeting new people and cultures. I enjoy cooking, yoga and projects with music and laughter! I have 3 sisters and 3 sons! I'm always fixing things at their houses!
I was an exchange student in Germany for the summer after high school. I still remain close with my family there and cherish my international friendships. We have visited each other many times over the years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Exploring different countries and having meals alone is fine but sharing experiences is so much better. I did 3 work-aways this year. (2 in Croatia, 1 in Spain) I found connection with all of them and have been invited back anytime! (That’s a good sign! LOL) . It truly is the best way to see a city and learn a culture. The family I stayed with in Spain came to visit me in LA. When I was in San Sebastián I met a family while walking who told me they are couch surfers. They encouraged me to join as there are more urban locations! They suggested I host (because of my great location) and to build up references to couch surf in Europe.
I live close to the beach and enjoy hosting people and showing them my city and the wonders of LA!
Having grown up with 3 sisters I'm comfortable with hosting women. I read a woman's profile that said "this is not a dating sight." I agree and honor the spirit of couch surfing and wanderlust!

When I'm hosting I can show people a great beach town, cook a nice meal, tour Beverly Hills, Hollywood and DTLA.
