I was the only member of my family that grew up in the States. I live in Texas and I am currently a full time student at the University of Texas at Dallas. I work a part-time job as a clerk at QuikTrip, and with the money I saved, I went to study aboard at National Taiwan University this semester (Feb 2016-July 2016). My reasoning for choosing NTU is because it is affordable and it is a different culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I am student studying aboard, I cannot spend too much money because I no longer have a source of income. I want to visit other countries while I am here, so saving as much money as I can would be great. I chose to be on Couchsurfing because it saves money, and I love to experience a new culture and having someone to show me around would be great.

I helped teach elementary school students for their standardized testing. It's nice to know I had an impact on someone's future.
