About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Visit every country of the World

ABOUT ME

I'm really relaxed and enjoy anything new. I like meeting new people and hearing new things, especially other travelers (who tend to have the best stories). I'm studying medical biology at the university of Edinburgh, but I've also studied at Queen's in Canada and worked as an EA in Namibia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll try anything.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only accosting strangers in emergencies to ask if I can sleep in their gardens.

Interests

Everything! Travelling, outdoorsy things and music would be my favourite things though. I love canoeing and hiking and want a chance to take some time to do a few real trips (next up, el camino de Santiago). On a day to day basis, I'm all about pub nights and craft beers with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch most movies, as long as they're not goofy comedies (grown ups 2? Come on Adam sandler, are you even trying any more?). The main exception is anchorman, which might be the best piece I cinematography ever created by human kind. Top 3 movies? For a few dollars more, The Lord of the Rings and for some reason The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Music top 5: The National, Kanye West, Childish Gambino, Frightened Rabbit and The Temper Trap. Favourite song is Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits.

I don't get to read as much as I'd like to, but The Book Thief, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and To Kill a Mockingbird are all time favourites Harry Potter does, of course, go without saying.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been dangled off Victoria falls by a 6'4'' Zambian man.

Teach, Learn, Share

What can I offer hosts? If I have time and money, I'll usually turn up with some beers to share. I'm a big fan of rambling life chats and lively debates, or spontaneous misadventures. Either works!

What I Can Share with Hosts

As many wonders of Edinburgh as I can afford.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Botswana, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Namibia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Zambia, Zimbabwe

Countries I’ve Lived In
