ABOUT ME

35 year old Biology teacher. Non-conformist, desperately fighting the expectation to eventually settle down and live a normal life! Well travelled, but regrettably poor learner of languages, only managing basic conversational Spanish so far! Living the dream again, after taking a Sabbatical from my job, and heading to Columbia for an adventure! Not afraid to make a fool of myself, and game for anything. Although some alcohol may be needed to get me going, i am english after all!

PHILOSOPHY

Live your dream dont dream the life. Never judge a book by its cover and respect those that are different from yourself. Oh and also have as much fun as you possibly can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None to date. Really want to spend my trip in Columbia getting to know locals and sharing the way they live, rather than having a protected tourist experience. Happy to share a tea or coffee, or something stronger, and to maybe surf a couch or two!

Interests

Kids and education, culture, fiestas, politics, friendly discussions/arguements, sarcasm and injuring the feet of chicas lindas while trying to dance South American style!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky dived in Taupau New Zealand, had dinner with street kids in cambodia, taught english to Argentinians, survived watching a game with el doce at Boca Juniors, jungle trekked through N Thailand and annaconda hunted in Bolivia.
