Ok, I was planning a world trip, but plans are changed! Great joboffer, so putting the trip on hold.. Sooo, I'm open for hosting :) and of course, if I'm travelling I'd love to surf some couches myself as well ;)

No experience yet, but hoping to make some very soon!

Interests

Sports, in particular handball, has always been my big passion. I've played handball professionally, and this is actually the reason why I moved to Germany. For the last 15 years handball has taken up most of my spare time, but when I get the chance I love to go telemark-skiing in the mountains. I try to follow all the big sportsevents in television or live if possible.

When I don't do or watch sports with friends, hangin out with them is what I do. Just doing normal stuff :)

And when I've got the time, I like to play the guitar and also write songs. Even if I'm far away from beeing a great guitarist, and the singing is even worse, I find it relaxing to do just that :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Ok, a movie EVERYONE should watch is "Intouchables". A lovely and very funny french movie. "The ususal suspects" is also one of my favourites.
I listen to all kind of music, still one of my all-time-favourite bands is Counting Crows.
Jo Nesboe's books about Harry Hole are great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most wonderful experiences I was allowed to take part of, was on the wedding of one of my best friends, on Summer Island (Sommeröya) in northern Norway. It was end of July, and all my best friends in Norway was gathered there to celebrate. We sat outside, on the veranda of our "pimped" fisher-cabins, 2 o'clock at night, drinking beer, with the sun shining over the mountains and mirrored in the very cold (yes, I tried a couple of swimming strokes :)) and clear blue ocean. It was just and awesome and perfect moment! :)
Another moment I'll never forget took place this winter. Me and a girlfriend spontaneously decided to go skiing the next day. The sun was shining but it was very cold (about -18 degrees celcius). As we arrived on one of the mountain tops, there was a light wind swirling up the dry snow. The sunlight lit up the small snow crystals and it looked like something I've never seen before! It was like skiing in a cloud of fire flies :) My personal winter wonderland!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm, if someone wants to learn how to play handball, I guess I could do that :) For those of you who like to sing, I guess I could try to follow your voice with my guitar or ukulele :) I speak norwegian, swedish, some danish, english and german, so I might be able to teach you how to swear in those languages.. hehe :D Or maybe tell someone something nice.. I find languages interesting, so learning new ones would be great!! And I'd love to learn to surf, and not only couches ;)
