Overview
About Me
I grew up in Colorado and am happy to live in a state that's so beautiful, where I can snowboard, hike, bike, run, or just enjoy the sunshine so many days of the year! I work for a historical narrow gauge train that runs through the gorgeous San Juan National Forest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Originally, I hopped on to be able to do a long road trip from Colorado to the east coast, which was highly successful and I greatly appreciated my hosts! The experience made me a huge fan and I am eager to meet more people through it! Unfortunately, I cannot host, given my current living situation (I don't own the place where I am staying and am a roommate with a beautiful family of 6). :( Someday though, I will hop back on and change that status to host people, whenever that situation might change! I love the sense of community and paying-it-forward vibe that CS represents and creates. :)
Interests
Being active. I wouldn't say I'm extreme in any of the sports Colorado is known for, but I do enjoy most all of them and like to move my body around! Reading, occasional art, lovely people, learning.
I am working on going back to school to become a sonographer (ultrasounds) and am fascinated by our neat human bodies and minds!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've never seen how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. ....Okay, that's one amazing thing I've NOT done. Difficult question, I'll ponder it for a bit.
