ABOUT ME

I am looking for adventure. After I finished school I moved to South Florida (Miami area) for a "working vacation"; it turned out to be more working and not enough vacation. So I changed jobs moved to Atlanta and now I have travel benefits that let me travel the world on the cheap. Problem is I still don't make that much money. So I can afford to get anywhere I want to go but hotels, rental cars, cabs, or anything similar start to stretch my budget.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new to the CS2 project, a friend of mine recently told me about it and I thought it was a great idea. I hope to host and be hosted in order to meet people from around the globe and expand my worldview.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Like I said I am new to CS2, however I thought I might share a funny story. A couple years ago me and my roomates had a couple of friends that had no place to call home and would sleep on anyones couch. They ended up spending most of their time at our house, and we spent many nights drinking and generally having a good time. Later on we found a subtle carving on the wall above our couch the word "John" with an arrow pointing to the couch. See John had carved his name into the wall so whenever they crashed there if Mike ever tried to take the more comfortable couch he could claim it as his own. Mike never had a chance as soon as he said "It's not like it has your name on it" right there it was carved into the drywall.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music that was made because the artist loves what they do. No pop songs or singers performing someone else's work. It doesn't matter if it is punk rock, metal, bluegrass, accoustic, blues, country, hip hop, hell I'll even give polka a try. I love a good movie but there are too many great ones to even try starting a list. I do enjoy watching foreign films and independant movies more in general for the same reason I like my music, don't give me anything that was made simply for profit. I enjoy reading and for now I am just going to list my favorite novel and that is Wisdom of the sands by Antoine de Saint-Exupery or Citadelle in the french version.
