About Me

Im currently finishing my studies and writing my master thesis in medieval archeology. At the moment I live in Krakow with my girlfriend (we came here for erasmus). Normally though, we live in Croatia. We love travelling and we tend to travel whenever we can afford it. Apart from studying, I play the drums, I am an active chess player, and I have loads of minor hobbies such as cooking (almost professional!), etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing because it makes getting to know a city much easier, since you have a local guide and a peron you know as soon as you are there! I also want to invite people to Croatia, because I believe they would have a totally different experience there with a local that knows every place worth visiting.

Interests

As I said, I love chess, drumming and cooking. I used to play in a punk band for 8 years. I am really interested in archeology and history, but I also read lot on art history, architecture and phylosophy. At the moment I am focusing on developing my own business ideas and opening my own company. And recently i took up blues dancing!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite mucic genres are jazz, reggae and ska. My favourite series is Seinfeld and Only fools and Horses. Lord of the Rings is probably both my favourite book and movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I belly danced infront of 500 people with a turkish belly dancer while we were on a turkish night in Cappadocia.

Anything they would like to know about croatian history and culture, as well as experiences from my travels. I could also teach them how to prepare some of the finest dishes in the croatian cuisine.
