ABOUT ME

We are a small family (Lott, Anders and our daughter Juno, three months old) and we live in Stockholm, Sweden.

Lott is currently on maternity leave, otherwise working with development cooperation projects in the Middle East and Africa for the YWCA-YMCA. Anders is a journalist working at the Swedish news agency TT.

Anders spent a year in High School as an exchange student in Selma, CA (just outside Fresno, in the San Joaquin Valley) in 1992/93, and one semester at San Francisco State University in 2001, studying musicology and choral conducting.

Lott was born and lived part of her life in Helsinki, Finland. Middle Eastern studies brought her to live in Cairo a few months, in 2000 and 2002. She also spent three months in Paris in 1997, working at a restaurant, studying French and visiting every museum in the city.

We are very new in the couch surfing business but getting really excited about it. We have travelled a lot and speak several languages, but doing the same thing with a kid will be a different experience for us.

So far we only have limited, but very positive experience of couch surfing! Hosted once, and got a lot of good advice through the Family welcome group!
