About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Surviving my first Colorado winter!!

ABOUT ME

My name is Andy, I am a recent graduate of UCSB, doing a major in Art Studio with an emphasis in Photography. I love to read all the time, work on art projects and travel any chance I get. I love couchsurfing because it is not the places you see, but the people you meet that make your trip a memory.

PHILOSOPHY

Established education can only take you so far. Through extensive traveling, socializing, researching, and participating in life are we able to gain the real knowledge that will drive us forward.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CouchSurfing from one of my friends who told me how useful it would be for traveling on a budget. I cannot wait to share stories and a few drinks with people from around the world and want to learn from travelers before I set out on my own expeditions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few people stay with me so far. Two guys from India stayed at my house in the Spring time and it was a wonderful weekend. We went out a few times to party and they had to be some of the most amiable people I have ever met. This is a great service and I am thankful for the friendships made

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The very first time I stuck out my thumb to hitch a ride I couldn't stop smiling. It was a great rush and I was so excited to check it off my list of life lessons. The woman who picked me up was great and took me to lunch after we drove for the afternoon. I believe in the goodness of people and want to share that with those I meet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that I could give a pretty good insight into American cultures, I have lived in quite a few houses around the country and have seen the whole country for myself on one of my journey's. I want to share my art and passion for art with others.
