Settling back into my life after 7 months in South America. And of course thinking about my next trip.

ABOUT ME

I love travelling and meeting new people from different cultures. Love to share travellers stories and information about places. I currently work an office job but that is about to finish I hope. I like to keep healthy and active, and after South America I found a new passion in mountaineering, I also learnt Salsa so I can teach the basics of that to anyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love to help people, especially people coming to my country. I couldn't count how many people have helped me out around the world while travelling and I like to give some of that back. I also love talking with anybody about travelling, it is like a coffee for my brain. I can be really tired at work and not feel like doing anything, then someone comes to ask me for some information about traveling and I'm suddenly feeling awake and alive. These moments make me think I'm not meant to be working in an office all day. lol.

Interests

I have a lot of interests and always am open to new ones, like Meditation. If you had asked me 5 years ago about this I would have never thought I would ever be interested but now I am becoming more and more interested in it everyday. It is amazing how it can make you think more clearly and stop feeling stress or worry.

One of my main interests at the moment is Mountaineering and this is partly the reason I moved to Sydney. I am planning to climb the Seven Summits and I need some more practice and training first in both the Snowy Mountains, Blue Mountains.

I enjoy teaching english and what I know of portuguese and spanish.
I can also teach almost anything in IT if your interested.. haha.
I like to learn any new language and information about places I can travel to.

My helpful, fun personality and knowledge of travelling. I have helped many friends plan their trips or advice of where to stay. I'm very good at researching too, so if you need help planning a trip when you stay with me I'd be more than happy to help you plan it.
