ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing and independent guy from Southern California.

Im friendly and love to meet people. I don't have a problem starting conversations with strangers in broken English or Japanese.

I love anything to do with the outdoors. Hiking, camping, mountains, desert, the ocean. Ive seen it and done it and want to see more.

I appreciate the simpler things in life and am happy if im warm with a full belly and have somewhere to sit or crash.

I'm not into big clubs or parties but you've probably seen me in rundown bars and in loud groups of friends walking the city.

I havent done any couch surfing yet but im looking to give it a try this year around thailand and vietnam.

800hp trophy trucks driving by me at 80mph, ringing my ears and pounding my chest at races in the California desert.

Seeing my students proud of themselves and what they have accomplished with my help.

Sharing beer and chicken with a Buddhist priest and the waitresses at a shop in Nara. Then having them drive us all home after closing.
