Hey, I am a friendly and bubbly gal, originally from South Africa, lived in the UK for about 11/12 years. I am a recent graduate and need a little budget adventure. I like going out and having fun, but not all of the time. I enjoy a nice bottle of wine and a good book, I love great television (anything by Joss Whedon, Walking Dead, GOT, Penny Dreadful, OITNB, Pushing Daisies, and so on). I am all about adventure, seeing the beautiful sights, national parks and so on. I enjoy keeping fit, kettle bells, yoga, running, cycling, a bit of bouldering too.

I am planning a trip up and down the west coast of America, I am on a budget and after an adventure. I am friendly, pretty alternative, but super chilled. Just looking for somewhere to stay where I would feel safe, pretty new to this idea of couch surfing. I was meant to be travelling with a friend where we would share costs but unfortunately he is unable to make the trip. So I am planning it solo. I will be flying in to and leaving from LA, I will head up to Las Vegas, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, then to Washington, Oregon, San Fransisco, San Diego and then back to LA. I want to make the most of this trip, by meeting new people, experiencing the culture, and I would love to check out some local music!
I'm not accepting guests as I don't have my own place at the moment.

I have a pretty vast taste in music, from Norah Jones, to Skunk Anansie, 90s dance to a cheeky bit of Adele. Films; Firefly, Donnie Darko, Deadpool, Hancock, Jay and Silent Bob, Mallrats, are just a few. I am currently reading The Art of Happiness by the Dalai Lama and Howard Cutler, and Revolution by Russell Brand, next I'll be reading Women Who Run With Wolves and The Long Walk To Freedom by Nelson Mandela

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Bungee jumping in Soweto, South Africa. What an amazing spiritual holiday that was. From meditating on table mountain in Cape Town, to playing with lion cubs.. jumping the water towers in Soweto will always one of the most amazing things I've ever done.

I enjoy writing, and have a side project running, an online free magazine called Doxy. You can head over and have a read of past and current issues at ww.doxymag.co.uk
I would love to meet people and record my trip and experiences through photography and writing in the magazine. Also, if anyone fancies making a contribution to the magazine, that would be amazing. I could help people learn beginner Photoshop skills, profile or interview writing tips.
I also have a pretty big interest in stones and crystals, spiritual energies and growth. I get some people aren't in to it, I don't talk about it unless people ask or it comes up.

All round happiness, peace, I love to engage in debates, but I also love to talk philosophy and spiritual guidance. Good times, laughs, adventures. We could do some tie dying, yoga, weights, I have dreadlocks which I maintain myself, I could teach people how to dreadlock hair, maintain dreadlocks, I have plenty of tattoos and piercings if anyone is curious about the process behind them.
