About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have a good time!
ABOUT ME
I live in Chicago, for 14 years now. Biking is my favorite activity. I play drums in a couple of bands and work full time.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a wait-and-seeist. Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey pretty much sums up my personal philosophy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I stay. You stay. We all stay for ice cream!
I love meeting new people and exchanging stories and ideas. It's generally what I try to do most of when I travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've actually always managed to stay with friends so I've never technically used it, but my friends swear by CS.
Interests
Music, biking, dogs, travel, science, economics, food, foreign cultures, technology, talking, building stuff. I just started learning Mandarin.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to list. Favorite director is David Cronenberg. Favorite book is Frankenstein.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the 4th of July fireworks from a 16-story abandoned concrete factory. Seeing the sun set and rise over Alaska within 15 minutes. The sound of the 17 year cicadas.
Teach, Learn, Share
I play drums and like to jam. I can help with audio questions or troubleshooting you might have, I have a degree in that and do stuff with audio every day. I like to wing it with building or constructing stuff and would be happy to assist in construction or building something. Any opportunity to practice my meager Chinese is appreciated.
