ABOUT ME

I'm an open, sociable person. People could describe me as a leader type, once they get to know me well. I love to have interesting discussions, but I will always respect your opinion. I'm not easely angry, and I'm also an easy-going person, perhaps sometimes too easy. My family calls me nonchalant, that could be true sometimes :-) I have a boyfriend Arnout, with whom I live together in an appartment in Ghent. We've been together for almost three years, he studies Political Sciences.

兴趣

I'm interested in theater (but I should watch one more often), music, film, dance, food, culture, art, fashion, going out ...and ofcourse travelling.
I really like to go out and grab a drink in a cosy cafe or have a nice diner. I'm kind of a night person! 'Once in a while' I feel like dancing and going crazy!

Movies: La vita è bella, American Beauty, The other Boleyn girl, classics Grease and Dirty dancing, Anyway the wind blows (flemish films in general), 21 Gramms, Monster, Slumdog Millionaire, Citade de Deus, Touching the Void, Moulin Rouge, ...

Music:
- old jazz: Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holliday, Ray Charles, Miles Davis, ..
- to go out: Digitalism, Empire of the sun, Daft punk, David Guetta, Gossip, Laurent Garnier, Moby ... and oldies like 'tequila', 'wild thing' or 'gimme' .. love it :-)
- just easy listening: k's choice, anouk, vaya con dios (!)

Books: actually, I love reading, but I almost never have the time to do so. When I'm on holidays, I love to read thrillers from Aspe or Jef Geeraerts, but much further than that it doesn't go. I know it's a shame, but the last four years I studied, and those books were enough :)

I could teach you Dutch :-) We could listen to some great Belgian music, taste some exquisite Belgian beers or watch a good Belgian movie, each one of three really worth trying!! I can also cook some excellent penne all'arrabiatta, or 'hesperolletjes' with cheese sauce, a typical flemish dish. Ofcourse I could show you around in Ghent, really the most beautiful city of Belgium! We can make a boat trip, go to the musea, have drink, go out... whatever you like!
