About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find that niche

ABOUT ME

I moved to Bangkok when I was 13 with my family, so I grew up in Thailand. I moved to Chiang mai a few years ago, took up Muay Thai and ended up becoming a champion! It made me believe that anyone can do anything if they are determined!
I'm an adrenaline junkie/nerd.

At the moment I'm trying to learn as much as I can through online courses, videos, books..
(for example I found out recently that I like maths a hell of a lot more than I thought I did!)
But there is so much to learn and do! I find it hard to focus on one subject for an extended period. I'm trying to find something that I enjoy that will challenge me for the next few years.. perhaps the rest of my life.

Bottom line, I know a little about a lot..

PHILOSOPHY

Seek out the best people, they always seem to be hiding right under your nose!
Never stop learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've seen so many amazing things and experienced so much generosity whilst I was surfing! It's a friendly face and somewhere to rest your head in an otherwise daunting new place.

I've met the most amazing people through Couchsurfing , people I would never otherwise have met.

My father hosts so I host vicariously, you can check out his profile for reviews. I'm mentioned there quite a few times. Please check out his profile:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some amazing people! Some crazy, some down to earth, interesting, lovely people!

Interests

I love having interesting discussions with people, each person thinks completely differently and it is fascinating to try and understand another persons mind.
Everyone of us has a view of the world that is constructed almost entirely from scratch, through culture, environment and even thoughts. Thinking alters thinking.

I love sports and watching sports at an elite level. I've recently taken up ice hockey and fencing!

Other things I like are Rock climbing, Muay Thai, Football, Ice skating, Wake-boarding, Horse Riding.. you get the idea.

I really want to do Snowboarding or Scuba diving yet! This will be my next mission!

I also love Sci Fi, Neurology, Psychology, Art, History, Geology and Music, of course! I play djembe, drums and I'm trying to learn the piano..

Oh right, and I like Coffee. And cake.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran up Doi Suthep, something I never thought I could do, ended up doing it every month.

Got into the ring a few times, I must say it's a little addictive.. Being that fit is an amazing feeling, it makes you wonder how much further one can possibly push the body, I would one day like to reach that pinnacle.

Teach, Learn, Share

Having lived in Thailand for many years, I can give you advice on how to live a good life here and what is really worth seeing. I learnt to read Thai in a few days using the Rapid Method (www.learnthaionline.com), so I can teach you some Thai also.

I could teach you some Muay Thai, but I'm currently in physiotherapy until I'm completely recovered. I can tell you a lot about sports injuries and how to deal with them.

I.... could teach some drumming
I could also learn some drumming, actually.
