ABOUT ME
I was born in Bosnia and Hercegovina but I came with my parents and my brother to Spain when I was only 1 year old and I have been living there scince. I grew up in Vila-real, close to Valencia, but I went to Madrid to study and I stayed. I studied sociology and Im doing a PhD now about labour conditions in theatre. I like working on social research projects.
About my personality Im quite positive and usually outgoing. I really enjoy getting to know different cultures and ways of living and travelling and meeting new people is the best way to do that.
PHILOSOPHY
I dont think I have a specific personal philosophy, basically I just try to enjoy life, help when I can and let other people help me if I need it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to travel a lot whith my family when I was little but scince I've started going on my own or with friends couchsurfing became the best option to get to know a new places. It's great when you go a now region and someone can point you out to the best places and give you recomendations, specially when your buget is pretty tightened like mine usually is.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A while ago I had my first experience and it was awesome, my friends and I stayed in Berlin for 5 days and we had a great time with our host. Since then I've been travelling thru the United States and it was also great so I can't complain.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all music depending of my mood, with who am I and what Im doing. I guess at home I listen a lot of jazz, afrobit or reggae for example (Now Im listening to this while Im writing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St14STZS4fo), and for going out Im fine with anything upbeat. I need to get pretty drunk to enjoy techno.
I guess something similar happens with movies, not too much into terror because I genuinly get scared but if they are well made I can enjoy all kinds.
About reading, this year I had to read a ton of academic texts and books for my PhD so when I wanted to relax I watched some series or movies instead of reading... anyway, specially in summer I enjoy reading a lot. Last thing I read not related to my university was Peter Peterson's "Out Stealing Horses", which was awesome.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
You wouldn’t believe...
Teach, Learn, Share
The easyest thing I can share is some language skills in spanish and I really need to learn how to write better in english because writing all of this has been harder than I expected :)
