Having spent the last two years living in Dubai for work I have recently returned to Edinburgh and am looking to meet new people and show them my amazing city.

I like to think of myself as easygoing and up for anything type person. Last year I wrote of list of things to do before I was 50, and see the world is on it. I enjoy going out with my friends and meeting new ones, like everyone i enjoy a good laugh and always try to make time for friends and visitors.

My philosophy is simple: May as well go for it, after all you only live once and whats the worse that can happen.

I have worked in hospitality my entire adult life and nothing is better than knowing you've managed to help someone.

Interests

Sport, any type I will sit and watch quite happily. I enjoy learning new things chose to study history so that I can see how the world we live in has been formed over time by the people who live in it.
I enjoy being outside, after two years in the scorching sand of Dubai I try to spend as much time in the cold, wet of Scotland as I can normally with my dog.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the sun rise of the Arabian gulf, behind you is the mass of Dubai but infront it's still still calmness and clear view all the way to the horizon.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Studying history has given me a passion for knowledge, Edinburgh is my city, I grew up there and know everything about it. I would love to show anyone new around the city, also I know all the good bars.
