CURRENT MISSION
Getting the most out of Living in London
ABOUT ME
I moved to London two years ago, but still got lots off places left to explore in this huge and ever changing city. Before that I lived in Oxford for several years but during that time I spent 18 months out of the UK, working in Japan for a year and traveling in South America for six months.
I'm always up for trying new things, being challenged, valuing all the positive experiences life can give, but not sitting back and accepting the many bad things in the world that can be changed!
Would be especially keen to show people around who speak spanish, to try and practice the little bit I learnt in South America, or Japanese (which I have almost completely forgotten but love to hear)!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is short, don't waste it. Make a difference to the world, and enjoy yourself. Try and see the positive in every experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can show people around London. In a real emergency I may be able to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I´ve met a lot of really interesting people through couchsurfing. It´s a great way to get to know local people and see a different side to places than you get from just reading guide books. It´s also been a very good way to practice Spanish!
Interests
Travelling (quel suprise), running, playing football, several other sports, music music music, bars, dancing, current affairs, intelligent films, deep conversation, humanitarian causes and social justice, sillyness, anything I can get competitive about (which is almost anything!) and generally having a good laugh with interesting good humoured people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too much to list properly. Don´t like action films, instead I go for those with an intelligent plot, and as a general guide prefer international films to Hollywood.
All sorts of music, same with books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's really hard to pick, but....I lived in Tokyo for a year (sugoi!!!) and I totally fell in love with Japan.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can help you practice your English! I know a little bit of Japanese, and have also given a lot of help to people who are travelling to Japan. I´ve travelled in over 35 countries so can give a lot of advice on different places to go.
I know lots of places to see, drink and eat in London.
