I'm a Scotsman living in England (eek!). I travel a fair amount with my job (PhD student)mainly in Europe though 'occasionally' in more exotic places!
I've lived and worked abroad so I know how useful a local is as well as the extra fun involved in meeting randoms this way!

More than happy to offer a spare couch/bed in Durham and act as a guide in the surrounding area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some people when I was in the Faroes Islands and they were really friendly and enthusiastic. I'm travelling a lot this summer and really hope to CS more!

Interessen

I love films: recent favourites were No Country for Old men, Control, The Proposition, Little Miss sunshine... I enjoy sports, cooking-mostly eating the results though...and the odd drink and boogy now and then!
Newcastle is good for gigs and live music so I spend too much cash and time through there recently saw Kings of Leon there-Brilliant.
