I was born on the Big Island of Hawaii and grew up in a small town about an hour north of San Fransisco. When I'm not brewing tea and mixing mocktails at my ritzy restaurant job, I'm writing copy for various nonprofits and working as an actor with an avant-garde theater company.

I love music, museums, hiking, surfing, gardening, books,
cooking, eating, and of course, travel.

I spent a good part of my early twenties busking around the Mediterranean with an old nylon string guitar, earning my "free spirit" badge as fully as possible, (see reviews, ha) but I haven't been roaming the world half as much as I've wanted to since then.

I've contributed to some exciting humanities projects, built a tiny house, studied poetry with laureates, made a lot of theater and made a lot of friends.

So happy to be traveling more again—next up Thailand and Bali!
