ABOUT ME

i am a genuine, up front sort, a loyal taurus, a kind spirit, a creative, visual type, athletic, highly adventurous, much fun, happily disposed with an optimistic heart

i like to see the entire milky way, bushwack, go to the end or climb to the top, glissade, ride in the trees, wipe out in powder, count my blessings, volunteer, be helpful, look at things that are centuries old, marvel at the detail, observe nature, enjoy modern design, live in the city, go places, hang out with locals, experience other cultures, be with my identical twin, be with people who will teach me something they know, stretch, eat healthy, use a MAC, be high without drugs or alcohol, enjoy camaraderie, be loved and appreciated, save money and pay cash, be fabulous

i want to go all over every continent, explore the west coast, learn to fly, learn to lead water ice 5, ride my split snowboard in the back country, become more musical, have a studio space and make art, be prettier in drag, raise children, give more, learn more about the nature of what lies beneath my skin, continue to become more effective in my life

i have found that: you get what you pay for, all human beings have fear, you don't know if you don't ask, its good to let go, weimaraners are trouble (but worth it), football sucks, flourescent light is bad for the soul

the best qualities to have are teachability, loyalty, curiosity and compassion

i lived in Chicago for twenty years and have been in Colorado since 2003.

books: i read bits of many things - non-fiction topics like mountaineering, 20th century history and politics, philosophy and the nature of consciousness, fine art and design - new yorker and smithsonian magazines - classic short stories - shakespeare
tv: nova, frontline, democracy now, other pbs - would not claim any network tv shows as dear to my heart -- don't currently own a tv
movies: shakespeare in love, steel magnolias, a fish called wanda, monty python and the holy grail, the matrix, walk the line, beaches, the world according to garp, north by northwest, james bond, apocalypse now, young frankenstein
