Traveled 52 months in Europe until COVID-19 forced me to return to Oslo (Nov. 2015 — Mar. 2020). Traveling again from Nov. 2022, with no plans to stop … not until the next pandemic forces me to.

I could host when I’m back in Oslo, but preferably to someone I've already met.

Before backpacking took over my life, I worked as TV director in Oslo. Single, no pets, lots of interest in hanging out with people from all over the world, as I've had great experiences doing the same on my trips around the world :)

Sometimes meeting people while traveling, sometimes meeting travelers here in Oslo :) Just to socialize, haven't really couch surfed yet, nor hosted.

Conversations! Getting to know people during my trips is a major part of my traveling experience. I enjoy learning about other people's lives, and discussing all kinds of topics.

My passion used to be my work; directing for television. Now, my love for travel has taken over as my main passion in life. If I don't grow tired of it, my current trip may very well keep going for years to come...

Movies, culture, experiences. I am open to going to a theatre play in a strange language, and exhibitions and architecture will always trigger my interest.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: When I go out, I'm not picky, but rock places make me feel at home! Outside of bars, I prefer lounge/electronica/chill. Moloko, Morcheeba, Kent, Massive Attack - that kind.

Movies: I devour both series and movies. I have completed several film studies, so I know all from Battleship Potemkin to Citizen Kane, but nowadays, I do prefer more mainstream movies. Star Wars geek at heart, but LotR is my absolute favorite.

Books: I read too little these days, but I enjoy fantasy of the broader kind; all from Bram Stoker to Robert Jordan. I also do write, but I can't call myself an author just yet.

Skydiving over Hawaii, drinking a still beating snake heart & warm snake blood in Vietnam, having a robber's knife to my throat in Rio de Janeiro, being shot at in a slum in South Africa (Khayelitsha), attending the friday prayer in Qom, Iran (still being an Agnostic).

And in my own country: Swimming under the bright midnight sun in summer, and as a kid; playing under the spectacular aurora borealis in winter.

My year around the world in 2009-2010 was my best year so far! Absolutely amazing.
