CURRENT MISSION

I want to learn as much as I can about the world and experience new things with all the great people in it. I enjoying making new friends from new places and I hope that by increasing my understanding of how other people live, I can learn to live better.

ABOUT ME

I'm 25, and I wear many hats. I'm a freelance photographer, seasonal airline employee, occasional teacher and avid traveler. I have a wide range of interests and I'm intensely curious about the world. I'm not great at planning, so I make a lot of last minute decisions, but they still usually turn out awesome.

PHILOSOPHY

My worldview is always evolving, but I suppose my most basic philosophy boils down to this: Everyone is born by no choice of their own into a unique situation in life. We all have different families, childhoods, gifts, struggles, knowledge and experiences. Though our opinions differ, our unique perspective is one of the greatest contributions we can make, because no two people can experience existence exactly alike. We have something to learn from everyone.

I've met some incredible, kind, fun and interesting people through CouchSurfing. I think this is a great platform for connecting people around the world and allowing people to travel more often.

Skateboarding, playing music, reading a lot and exploring. Late nights full of deep chats and coffee with new friends. Hiking, swimming, or anything active. Discussing philosophy or international affairs or just getting to know new people. Idk, there's so much to enjoy in the world!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was once in northern Haiti riding on the back of a flatbed truck with 60 other people. The brakes cut out as we we're going down a mountain. A couple people jumped off but most people couldn't move at all. We ended up crashing into a ditch to avoid going off the cliff and no one was seriously injured other than a few minor scratches. After realizing everyone was okay, it was one of the coolest experiences of my life.
