My name is Stelios and I am 28years old. I am an photographer / artist and I love creativity of any kind. I have travelled in over 40 countries. Travelling is my thing but I like to do it right. I love meeting people, any people, hear there stories, photograph them. I love connecting with people, for real. I am not the one time coffee guy.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because Its the best thing to meet people. I dont know who was the first person that thought of it but its the most beautiful thing to arrive in a city or a place for the first time and straight away meet somebody local and be friends with. Its a deep dive in the culture at minute one.

Besides the obvious. So, photography, cinema and any kind of creative process, I love astronomy and astrophysics. My latest thing is the universe. I am trying to educate my self as much as I can on it. I mean, quantum physics... it's crazy awesome!!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

To me everyday is a new experience. To be honest thought, from all the travels and experiences there is one that sticks out.

I was working in Barretstown (google it) its a place that host children with serious illnesses founded by Paul Newman.

An essential part of the process there is reflexion and the most effective part of all is a big slideshow in the end of the session showing everybody what they have achieved and how fun everything was. For some children with visual impairments, this was no use. So i decided to create the first ever audio slideshow. I asked from her counselors to record fun moments, conversations, sounds that someone could associate with the experience itself, like sound of the water when canoeing. In the end I edit all this and I have her listen to it when everybody else was watching the slideshow. It worked and I was so proud to see it working. She loved!
