I’m a mother to an amazing daughter who I am so proud of and admire deeply for her poise and grace. I’m a grandmother to a 6 year old ‘ninja’ grandson who gives meaning to the word ‘life’. I’m a career bartender but now work seasonally. I love music and I love to dance. I support our veterans and their families. I’m a caregiver and have been a nanny to dozens of children. I used to play the accordion and still know a couple of Polkas. I’m an avid crocheter, a bi-lingual chica, a nomadic Spirit who never settles for the mundane and a curious bohemian who is done pursuing the ‘American Dream’. I have sold off all of my things and am ready to not only ‘trust the path’ but walk it too…

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To experience the towns and cities that I trek through from the homes of the locals. People are important to me and if a positive interaction can be had by myself and my host than its a great day.
I recently backpacked from NYC to Miami and stayed with over 100 strangers, many from Couchsurfing. The world is a friendly and fascinating place and I love it!
