ABOUT ME

I am a college student at the University of Southern Maine with a major in Media Studies. I also write for the school's newspaper, and I'm a College Marketing Representative for Sony Music (pays the bills).

I am engaged to the woman of my dreams. Her name is Stephanie, and she is currently pursuing a career in modeling and acting (which calls for a lot of adventuring!).

I'd like to think of myself as an adventurous spirit, but I'm often busy so I haven't been able to practice what I preach. I'm hoping to change that with CouchSurfing.org.

I'm a huge sci-fi geek with any kind of media--books, video games, movies, etc. I'm also a bit of a technophile.

What I ultimately want to do with my life is work in the journalism field and write unique and interesting investigative pieces. I have already started with two feature stories this year with my feature story writing class, and I'm hoping to land some kind of internship in the summer.

I love learning about new ideas and meeting new people. Thankfully, it's a huge part of journalism, which makes it one of the reasons why I want to pursue it.

PHILOSOPHY

I am an atheist, though I hardly define myself by that. Existentialism would more accurately define my feelings toward life. As the cliche says, I want to live life to the fullest, meet interesting people and live a lifetime of learning.
