Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Sudharsan (aka Aj Susa), a former corporate worker who left it all behind to embrace slow solo travel and tell stories on YouTube. I've explored Malaysia, Thailand, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, always focusing on the local experience rather than the touristy side. I love drawing, skating, playing the guitar (still learning!), hiking, and challenging people to a game of badminton. Let’s connect and swap stories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of connecting with locals and experiencing places beyond the typical tourist spots. I love staying with people who can share their stories, traditions, and hidden gems. As a solo traveller, it’s about slowing down, learning from the places I visit, and making meaningful connections along the way. Couchsurfing offers a unique opportunity to do just that while also sharing my own stories and experiences in return!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read books that are inspiring and make me not move an inch! especially autobiography excites me a lot and sometimes, fiction does the job as well!
Richard Branson's Screw It! Let's do it! , Varun Agarwal's How I braved Anu Aunty and Co-founded a million-dollar company is one of the gems on my shelf!
I'm not much into movies but I do watch some very specific ones! Sci-fiction and horror are cool and not into romantic movies because it's more unrealistic than a ghost story right? hahaha kidding, some are good! As I said, I watch them specifically by choosing them well!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you how to draw, share some basic skateboarding tips, or show you a few guitar chords (I’m still learning, but happy to share what I know!). I also love sharing stories from my travels and helping others find the beauty in slow, off-the-beaten-path adventures.
Learn: I’m always eager to learn more about local cultures, languages, and hidden gems that you won’t find in guidebooks. I’d love to learn about your favorite spots, local traditions, and maybe pick up a few new skills along the way!
Share: I’m all about swapping travel stories and experiences. Whether it's about backpacking in Malaysia or Kerala, or just chatting about life, I’m happy to share whatever I’ve learned from my journey. And, if you’re up for a game of badminton, I’m in!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share travel stories from my solo adventures through Malaysia, Thailand, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. I love connecting with locals and experiencing places off the beaten path, so I can offer insights into slow, immersive travel. I can also share my creative side whether it's drawing, skateboarding, or playing a few guitar chords (still learning!). Plus, I’m always up for a friendly game of badminton or a good conversation!
