ABOUT ME

I am semi retired and work part time as a nursing assistant in an outreach centre for the NHS, I have 2 children, who live away from home, and 2 grandchildren. I have a dog, Charlie a 10 year old cocker spaniel who keeps me active. My job gives me a lot of flexibility so I can arrange to show guests around the area.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very easy going person, I like to participate in activities. I love to talk but I also like to listen.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different types of music and have numerous cds. It depends on my mood as to what I listen too. I read a lot of books I like autobiographes but enjoy what I call trashy girlie novels for holidays and travel. I like to go to the cinema and also the theatre .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been on the Great wall of China, seen a tiger in India and snorkeled with bull seals in Ecuador, been to the amazon forest, Machu Picchu in Peru and flown over Mount Everest

Teach, Learn, Share

I have done a lot of voluntary work teaching english in a kenyan school, participating in Pueblo Ingles programmes helping the spanish improve their english, this involves talking a lot and sharing experiences. I love to learn about other cultures and have been on a backbacking trip around Spain.
