I am an enthusiastic Chemistry Professor who loves teaching, research ,lifelong learning, travelling for exploring nature and culture.
I have travelled throughout India through Youth Hostels association of India adventure trekking programs which brought me close to mountains and different terrains like beaches, desert, planes etc . It is an enriching experience to meet and greet people living happily in difficult terrains completely in harmony with nature, knowing about their vibrant lifestyle.
I am a naturalist and I have visited many Forests, National Parks and places in and around Mumbai and all over India for birdwatching and wildlife camps, study tours with my students. Through this passion I have volunteered for Bombay Natural History society and conservation education center for conducting nature trails.

This hobby of mine turned me into Environmental scientist and I have run a PG program in Environmental Science successfully for 10 years. through this program I could inspire several young students for protection and conservation of the rich biodiversity of our country and spread awareness on current environmental issues.
I look forward to educating and sensitize youth through interactive workshops on the climate action, biodiversity conservation and for adopting sustainable lifestyles.

I enjoy travelling and adventure sports.I had a wonderful Europe trip with my family . I was excited to visit these dream destinations like Paris, Munich, Switzerland, Amsterdam, Beljium, Austria.
I had opportunity to visit Michigan state University , Abudhabi University and Egerton University as academic visitor for participating in workshops or research Paper presentation .
I am here because I want to explore many new places, visit more countries , see wonderful landscapes and beautiful scenery. COUCHSURFING will bring me closer to people all over the world and share my experiences.

I have done some adventure activities like scuba diving at Andaman to see the amazing coral reefs I have done Paragliding at Solang valley Manali to get a feel of flying like a bird in the sky and let me admit it was a breathtaking experience.

I can teach Surya Namaskar- Sun Salutations , Pranayam - breathing exercises, a few yogasanas .
I can conduct workshops for youth, citizens on Climate Action, Sustainability, biodiversity, Butterfly gardening.
I also love facilitating decision making workshops for youth and corporates on various topics, including education, environmental issues , problem solving, team building etc.
I can go for birdwatching and butterfly watching.
I can introduce you to some of the most common and beautiful trees in our city and western Ghats.
I would love to watch the variety of life (plants, birds, Butterflies and other insects) in different places all over the world , efforts taken for the conservation by citizens , teaching learning activities for science and life skills, sustainability initiatives.
