About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring the world!
ABOUT ME
Well - I'm a mostly boring guy, but perk up to having fun rather quickly, given the right company... I am currently working in Switzerland. I live in Winterthur, and work in Schaffhausen and would be happy to meet people for a drink or a meal on weekdays, and possibly host on weekends.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live... And remember that you only live once!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a very pleasant visitor from France stay with me and my family on and off for 5-6 days spread across around two months, and I was amazed of how much we were able to learn about her culture (and vice versa, I hope!) - I would *never* have been able to learn so much from ANY book!
Interests
I *love* traveling, and have seen almost *all* of what my beautiful country - India, has to offer! I have also visited a few places in South-East Asia and the Middle East, and have been to the US and traveled around in Europe a bit. I hope to expand this list of countries in due time...

Music, Movies, and Books
Absolute fan of Music, the genre being largely dependent on my current mood... Like listening to Hindi music, and English soft rock and pop, though I haven't been able to get friendly with Hard Rock yet... About movies, I particularly liked "V for vendetta", "Bourne Identity" and "Bourne Supremacy". The "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie series is a family favourite (My mom's quite a fan!), and "Superman Returns" too was pretty cool, though I miss Christopher Reeve... Other movies that come to mind (meaning I liked...) are "The Shawshank Redemption", "Syriana", "Farenheit 911", "She's All that", "The Girl Next Door", and "Love Actually". Amongst Hindi Movies, Dil Chahta Hai and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi were my favourites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The beaches of the Andaman and Nicobar islands (India) - they have to be seen to be believed... 'Surreal' is the word that comes to mind... :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I was surprised to find that massaging a scratched CD with toothpaste actually DOES get it to work again without skipping!
