About Me
Hi there!
I am an architect, and gainfully self employed living in New Delhi. I am single, and love to travel in India and abroad. With the outbreak of COVID-19, it gives me enough freedom to work from any location where there is a high speed internet connection :-) I am truly blessed that all these factors, allows me to explore the world, meet people, and learn from their life and culture.
Since, my early twenties I had been traveling a lot solo and later on with my partner for work and leisure. This passion has shaped my personality, and I am respectful to everyone without being judgmental. I am a happy go lucky person, a bit introvert, and takes time to open up to strangers. But that doesn't limits me from being kind and helpful to everyone I come across.
I am spiritual, practices pranayama, yoga, meditation, and I try to help others regardless in every small way I could. I believe in the mantra "Be Good, Do Good" and slowly I believe that this whole world is like one big family of friends. We are here to help, and love everyone, and there could be no place for any sort of hatred. I refrain from religious, and political discussions.
I love painting, art, photography, and cooking. I am a quick learner when it comes to cooking, and I always love local cuisine while I am traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been traveling since my twenties, and I have come across so many wonderful people. People helped me selflessly with their suggestions, guided me, and also during troublesome situations. It makes me realize that there are so many good people all around the world. So as a token of my gratitude, I think it is also my responsibility to help people in every possible way, get to know each other, and create memorable moments to cherish.
Since, most of the time I am traveling for work I am rarely at my base location. So, I will appreciate if travelers can give me a month heads-up so that I could be of help to them and offer to share my accommodation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A separate room to share if available else the common space (living room), kitchen so that you can prepare your meals, and lot of guidance for the local tour in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities in India. I am generally very busy with work, but if I have an easy schedule I would be happy to share time as a local guide.
