Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the concept of couchsurfing. I'm on the site to host and surf.

There is a lot of hate in the world (largely fuelled by ignorance). However, kindness perpetuates kindness and thus, goes someway towards eradicating hate. Opening your home to a stranger is one of the kindest things one can do. It's even more enriching when it's someone of a culture/background you would not usually encounter in your daily life, as knowledge concurs ignorance and thus, goes someway towards making society not just a tolerant place, but an accepting place.

Interests

Writing and performing poetry, politics, learning about different cultures, interfaith matters, community cohesion, activism, travelling, planes, swing dancing and hiking.
