ABOUT ME

I am Project Officer at Leadership Program to stregthen leadership and technical capacities of young professionals along the Mesoamerican Reef System.
I studied my degree in Oceanography at the University of Vigo, Spain and at the Arctic University of Tromso, Norway, and I got a MSc in Marine Sciences and Limnology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). After some years travelling and enrolled in oceanographic campaigns, I´ve spent the last seven years teaching and researching the Caribbean. I lived in the Turks and Caicos Islands, southern Mexico and finally Quintana Roo, the place i call home.
I am a certified Dive Master and yoga addict. Vegetarian dreaming to become vegan in a cheesy meaty Mexico. My passion is the sea, and i work everyday to make peace between a necessary economic development and a healthy ecosystem surrounding us.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing while studying in Norway. I hosted and travelled around Europe solo and with friends for what now i remember as one of the best time of my life. After years without a place called home and with no time to travel for leisure, a trip to San Francisco has made me remembered those days and thrilled to use again this marvelous platform.
