CURRENTLY

I am a Computer Engineer in Barcelona, Spain. I moved here 2 years ago and I am a member of CS community for more than 6 years.

WHO AM I?

I was born and grew up in a small city called Afyonkarahisar in Turkey (I the middle of Ankara and Izmir, 3 hours to each by car).

I studied in Istanbul. During my university studies, I made Erasmus in Budapest, Hungary where I used CS much more than the times I was in Turkey.

I am always eager to meet new people and have fun all together. My friends always say that I am not a boring person. I love all kinds of humor and I like having fun all the time.

I am totally a positive and open-minded person. I am respectful to all thoughts as long as they are respectful to me, humanity, all living creatures :) And I can always find a way to entertain myself and people around me. Sarcasm is my shining armor in most cases xD

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

As a participant, sometimes, I can host you at my place, we can explore Barcelona if I am free and I might cook for you. :)

As a traveler, I love to travel to different places, so I may always need accommodation for one or two days. I am okey whether you want to travel around with me or not. I like seeing old towns, little streets, different type of architectures and more outdoor stuff.

I am not a foody person but I still like trying different type of tastes though I am very picky about what I eat.

Interessen

I like reading books, listening to remix music even more than the originals. I love playing video games but I am not an addict to games. :) More than all of these, I love crowded places with people who are open-minded, know how to have fun, can have beautiful conversations with and also likes gathering with all friends. I also like to do outdoor plans with my friends.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite music is actually the music that sounds good. I can listen to every genre. But if I want to be particular, I would say I worship Techno and also interesting remix music. Especially deep house, deep techno house and disco music are my favourites.

For movies, I am a big big fan of time travelling stuff. I love paradoxes in these movies. Besides time travelling, I am also a big fan of superhero movies (there is a heart for DC Comics here) and mindfuck movies. Some historical dramas also take place in my favourites.

I mostly like reading historical and political books or articles but sometimes I might read mysterious and fantastic novels. For example I very much like Dan Brown's novels.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I moved to another country (Spain) which, let along living there before, I have never visited at all. It was a blindshot which turned out to be great at the end :)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach subjects related to my profession. I am trying to learn Spanish (I am a bit lazy xD). I am also interested in Slavic languges.

Although I am not a professional cook, I can also explain you to cook some delicious Turkish food :)

I am also open to try different tastes from all around the world, so if you ever want to cook something traditional, I would never say no to that.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I can share my bed, my room, my bathroom, my food. I can also do a lot of things together with them if they want to spend some time together or get to know new people. And yes I always can share my beer :)
