ABOUT ME

So I'm from a little city in New York state about 3 hours from NYC, where not much happens. I went to school in a Pennsylvanian town called Scranton where even less happens. It's so dull, in fact, that NBC made a TV show out of its mediocrity. So I took a break from my history/political science major and my cross country team to spend my junior year abroad and packed up to Morocco. I studied Arabic for 3 years and love any chance I get to try and use it. I graduated college in 2011 and now find myself living in Rwanda trying to figure my life out....and pay my rent.

I love good movies, good music, good food, and good books. My favorite things to do include traveling, eating, running, meeting people, and getting lost.

I think the best television show ever is The Wire. I love all books by Jonathan Safran Foer. I listen to almost anything, but right now i'm psyched on this Malien guitar player Ali Farke Toure. I love all movies by the Coen brothers.

I have been totally in awe of the way family, friends, and complete strangers have been able to come through for me when i'm in a pinch...wouldn't be here without some amazing people in my life.
