ABOUT ME

Currently studying at university and living in Sydney. When traveling, I like meeting new people, sightseeing and socialising over drinks and going to bars. I prefer experiencing authentic culture rather than going to places where all the foreigners go. One of my favourite things to do when traveling in foreign countries is eating local or unusual delicacies.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I live with family so I can't host right now - although I'm happy to meet up with anyone traveling in Sydney and be a tour guide. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Japan and Philippines. It was a great experience to make new friends, and experience the culture at a different level. Although I don't host in Sydney, I'm always interested in meeting travelers and participating in language exchange, particularly with Japanese speakers as I wish to become fluent in Japanese.

Hiked in four different countries- Australia, Myanmar, Japan and Switzerland.
Switzerland was by far the toughest and totally killed me.

I love meeting extroverted, spontaneous and friendly people.
Happy to teach to English to non-English speakers and learn other languages as well - I speak a little French and Japanese, enough to get by while traveling.
