ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Sumina. I am a girl with full of curiosity. I look shy and quiet at the first sight, but actually I'm talkative easygoing person. I always try to find fun from everything.
I'm from Japan and have experience lived in Korea and studied in university in Canada. After coming to Canada, I'm into traveling around by myself and make friends from various countries!
Now I live in Tokyo to work.

Every person who I meet shape myself. I want to meet many interesting people and share interesting time with them to be a unique person.

I was hosted in Ottawa and Montreal, and we shared each culture. That was wonderful experience!

Interests

I like to travel and share experience and culture with many people from world! I'm from Japan, and I have lived in Korea for three years. Both are Asian countries and their faces look pretty similar, but they have pretty different culture and characteristics! That was really interesting experience!

I have leant Japanese calligraphy in my childhood. I like writing and I can show some Japanese calligraphy for you!

I like to bake cookies and cakes and love to eat sweets! So it's awesome if you can teach me some recipe or we can bake something together!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and enjoy any kind of music such as pop, rock, and classic. I really enjoy to sing, I'm not that good singer though.
I've played the oboe in junior and high school and I like instruments in band.
I love musicals in these days and I love songs in musicals as well. Singin' in the Rain, West Side Story, Les Miserables, Elizabeth, 1789, Crazy for You, The Scarlet Pimpernel...

I need music to be excited, relaxing, singing, and dancing!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The fact that I've started new university life in Canada! Huge nice gap from Japan and university life in Japan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love Japanese calligraphy. Though I don't have the brush and black ink, I can show you beautiful Japanese characters.
I can share Japanese and Korean culture and my experience there because I've lived in both Asian countries.
I will enjoy to be shared your culture and experience of couchsurfing!
