Where do I start? Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, Cat Power, Fiona Apple, and so many so many more. You know, those sensitive singer-songwriters with an old soul and a young heart;

Where do I start? The Science of Sleep, Her, The Hours, all Wes Anderson movies, all Richard Linklater movies, and most Woody Allen movies. And I haven't even started yet.

Where do I start? The Catcher in the Rye, The Diary of Anne Frank, Daddy-Long-Legs (I mean, my artist name is Cayla &The Daddy-Long-Legs for a reason), just to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent one summer working as a volunteer teacher at a middle school in a rural village in China. Made friends I call family now who are living all over the world now. One of my most precious memories for life.
