ABOUT ME

There are many sides to my personality; I think it's best to be artfully eclectic in life...to keep an open mind and choose the very best experiences, ideas, and styles you can find or invent. I can rival the wildest funktastic party animals one night and then carefully explain the importance of investing for your retirement the next morning. I pride myself on being extraordinarily logical but have always had a romantic side as well. Let's just say I'm full of surprises ;) Also I've always enjoyed the simple pleasure of making people laugh.

Although neither of my parents are American, I was born in the U.S. and lived there until I escaped in 2004. Thanks to my UK citizenship I can live and work in the EU easily, which makes me very happy indeed :)

I think jingoism is generally a mistake; it's better to fill your life with the best of what different countries have to offer; pick and choose from a delicious smorgasbord of international delights!

PHILOSOPHY

I probably have too many to mention :) I'm trying to extract as much enjoyment out of the present whilst also building a prosperous future. Pure logic is my religion.

Have attended numerous CS events in Nordrhein-Westfalen (prior to becoming a Couchsurfer!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've enjoyed meeting with CS'ers from around the world. I've been to quite a few CS meetings and appreciate the fact that there has not been a single sober minute during any of them; the drinks flow as liberally as the conversation! :)

兴趣

I am into various artistic pursuits, mainly creative writing and music (when I can find the time!). Needless to say I love travelling and discovering other cultures (and experiencing the food of various nations to an unnecessarily hedonistic extent!) Europe is my favourite corner of the world. Other interests: Fast cars, psychology, red wine, history, investing, hiking...
