I love people. Meeting them, talking with them, helping them, working in teams. I love paying piano, been paying since I was 7. Theater is one of my passions, as well as writing, photography, social justice, anthropology, and art of all kinds. I am 20 years old, and currently studying Journalism at the University of Arizona. I also am minoring in Spanish because I think it is very important to know more than one language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I graduated from highschool a year ago (woah, how time flies!) and took a year off of school to travel! I have been in Spain for the past two months visiting my aunt who lives there and exploring the country, practicing my Spanish. I have been using airbnb for the past two months, meeting all types of new people. I was in Morocco a few weeks ago and met some girls travelling from Denmark. They told me about couchsurfing and I decided to check it out! It seems very cool, and genuine, and I would love to meet even more awesome people! AND of course, I am a poor student, about to be even more poor once I enter the stupefyingly expensive college system in the U.S., so a cheaper option is also an added plus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two months in Kenya with my Aunt and Uncle from this past January to early March which was SUCH a good learning experience. I got to play theatre games with little children at the local elementary school in their village of Mbita. Theater is one of my passions so it was awesome to share it with those amazing and loving kiddos.
