ABOUT ME

2015 was the first time I tried to travel alone. It was scary, but the trip was an introduction to the amazing world of traveling, and I have not stopped since! My latest travels lead me to Japan, San Francisco and Bali, and was absolutely amazing.

What do I do in Denmark? I study Anthropology with a focus on gender and sexuality. I try and do a lot of Yoga and read a lot of books, and I also work at the danish version of planned parenthood. Other than that I am just trying to have a good time

I am vegetarian but not fanatic. Also I am queer, so if you are bothered by that then we are probably not the best match :)

MORE ABOUT ME!

I am outgoing, friendly and open. I love a good hug, experiences that push me to be better, and a good debate (preferably accompanied with a bottle of wine and some homemade food ). In the weekend I usually go to the local clubs where I like to make a fool of myself on the dance floor (Which i then recover from the next day with a long yoga session).

Want to go work out in the park with some Acro yoga, roughhousing or sky gazing? I am your guy! I love any form of alternative movement form.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that in order to have truly experienced a new country, you have to live, speak and dance with a local. This is where you get the true impression of what a country and culture is about, and where you create the best memories. I want to learn from people and have amazing experiences.

I AM NEW TO COUCHSURFING BUT NOT NEW TO TRAVELING!

As the keen eyed Couch Surfer will notice, I have few references and haven't hosted (Yet). I have stayed with multiple local people around the world, and had great experiences, but all though I have an old profile I never thought of CS as being a valid option. This changed after a great talk and debate with a CS user, that really showed me the human potential of this website. Once I am done with my semester abroad, I will open up my apartment in Copenhagen for hosting. It isn't much, but I want to give back to the community.

Interests

I like politics, feminism and queer theory. I am definitely left leaning, but I am always open to being challenged!

Yoga brings me peace and a nice physique. I am invested in social science with a dash of occasional spirituality. I try not to sit too much, wear funny foot shaped shoes and dance the night away.

Who doesn't love a good Beyonce jam? Other than that, anything that is epic, grand or makes you cry. Lately I've bene trying to get into techno though

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As part of a course in Anthropology, I did a field study in San Francisco regarding Polyamorous sex club practices. Attending and being a part of these club events (Which to this day might have been one of the funniest, safest and least sexy party I've ever gone to) was a life changing experience

Other things? I've once hosted an entire workshop about toxic masculinity with only men attending. I traveled through Japan only spending 500 euros. I spend a week living with locals in Jerusalem.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I'm an old national champion of ballroom dancing, so if you want I can teach you bridal waltz and get your ready for your future wedding! I do workshops on consent, masculinity and sexual and reproductive rights. I can teach you spazy Wim hof breathing techniques and basic yoga, and also I'm great at cooking!

Learn: If you teach me how to prepare your local food or how to dance I will probably love you. Otherwise, if you have knowledge of an obscure philosophical trend, I will listen to your wide eyed.

I'm a great cook so if you want I can cook us some amazing meals :) Also I'm pretty funny, so there's that. And if you want I'm a great hugger.
