About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting as much information as I can about Brazil, Chile and Vietnam

ABOUT ME

I can't stop moving and am very keen on going to new places and meeting new people. This is the best way to learn about the world.

I have traveled around a lot in quite different conditions - from great comfort to zero comfort and definitely one is not better than the other, once you seize the charm of both.

I get along well with people and easily enroll them in long thoughtful discussions, to get to that feeling that we have known each other for ages.

I have friends at all the continents except for Australia (for now) and seek to find more... and more

PHILOSOPHY

Pretending to understand is the worst thing you can do. Genuine understanding is the key to all doors.
Opening your heart once is not difficult. The hardest part is to keep it open, when the times are tough.

Live every day in awe, smile to the sun and to the rain, never stop searching.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well,it was easy to start: created a profile, made a donation, surfed and hosted a little... Does not seem much, however with all people who contact me, I have a feeling couch surfing has become an important part of my life. People who write to me, looking for a couch in Paris are all so bright and interesting, that i would love to say yes to all the requests! Unfortunately, not always able to do so, euh...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Copenhagen and Lisbon. Surfed in Johannesburg for two months (but this is a very special story :)Hosted four times in Paris and met numerous couch surfers to show them around Paris.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mount Fuji in Japan. When at the top, it really felt like "the world is mine"
Crossing the Corsica island on GR20 hike. The motto of the adventure was " an insane person has created this hike and even more insane people go on it!", this is to say that it is rather hard, but the landscapes are a-we-so-me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach : mainly languages or travel / living experiences from Eastern Europe (Ukraine,Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary) or else the USA or France or Japan. Always ready to talk about literature ;) Also enjoy photography and art, although can't consider myself an expert, thus it can be both - teach and learn, which is even better :)
Learn: interested in boudhisme and yoga, salsa and tango, theatre, Latin American culture...

Share : whatever I have

Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Russian Federation, South Africa, Spain, Tunisia
