ABOUT ME

My friends usually say I'm quiet at first glance but would be talkative when we get familiar. I'm quiet as I'm introvert and I always care about what others think for what I'm doing. I'm an easy going person and a good listener for them therefore they like to share their stories with me. Moreover, I'm a geek as my major is in computer science (specifically in AI and graphics). Also I love photography as both my hobby and my major study.

By the way, I love travelling to different places to have experiences of various cultures. Not only visiting tourist interest places, but also make friends from all over the world. That's why I'm on CouchSurfing. I haven't used CS in my previous travelling experience and I'm looking forward to try the "new thing" for my further trips.

PHILOSOPHY

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was in Avignon, France in 2012 (when my friend Huan found the host so Iv no idea of his name). We arrived at Avignon late so we missed the last bus to the village the host family lives in. The host was very nice and picked us up in town. We had a nice evening though we haven't had chance to talk much.

In my first trip to Spain I had 3 host in 3 cities. In Zaragoza the host was very helpful. There I start to know about Spain, the history of Aragon and lifestyle. This has made my rest of trip easier as it is "a great introduction of voyage". There I had lots of "first times":first time to have coffee in a Spanish bar. First time to learn the language and first time to try the tapas.
In Xmas 2013 I revisited Aragon. The hosts (they are brothers) invited me to the village he lived in. Therefore I had a chance to discover the side of Aragon which not everyone will see. Also I was surprised to see they are very interested in Chinese culture. Last but not the least:the food was much much better and tastes different from local restaurants. Home recipe must be different! And their pets are friendly to guests too.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1)Experienced the Diamond Jubilee at London, Surprised to witness British people's enthusiasm.
2)My graduation ceremony in University of Liverpool, in 2011
3)The moment I saw Islamic arts, which is just like when I first saw celtic art/patterns. That's what made me interested in this mysteristic culture.
4)Irish music!Which really made me wanna dance like Rose in the Titanic or dream in the Sally Garden.
5)A surprising proposal in 2010
6)The rainbow after heavy rain I saw on the highway to Zaragoza. Also the "western view" along the route.
7)First time to see a Spanish family has a great Chinese collection, even the DVD remote control is in Chinese.
